Gerald Weaver on Marie Colvin’s impact on Gospel Prism
Marie Colvin, Gospel Prism and Gerald Weaver
Posted in: Behind the Book
Marie Colvin carried the manuscript for Gospel Prism with her on her final assignment in Syria. Colvin was a lifelong friend of author Gerald Weaver and was the driving force behind him writing the book. In this short video, Gerald Weaver talks about his relationship and friendship with Marie Colvin and how she was closely involved in every aspect of Gospel Prism. If Gospel Prism were a baby, Marie Colvin would be the father and the author would be the mother. She inspired it, made editing suggestions, contacted an agent, and carried the manuscript to one of the most dangerous places on earth. Learn how these two met, and where, and what they meant to each other.
